The Serifos Sunset Race will be held in Serifos for the 11th year on the weekend of 13-14 September 2025.
It is one of the biggest sporting events in the Cyclades, with participants from all over Greece and abroad.
It is co-organized with the South Aegean Region, with the support of the Municipality of Serifos and is an ambassador
of the SeaChange Greek Islands program of the Athanasios K. Laskaridis Public Benefit Foundation,
a holistic intervention for the protection of the marine environment in the Cyclades.
In the framework of this cooperation, the organization has become "plastic free",
replacing disposable plastic products with ecological recyclable products and participating in all the actions of the SeaChange Greek Islands
program (beach clean-ups, information sessions, etc.) during the period of the event.
The competition program includes:
- 5 and 10 km adult road races on the Vagia - Ganema - Koutalas route, during sunset and finishing at Vagia beach, on Saturday 13/9.
- 750, 1500, and 3000 m adult swimming races on Avlomonas Beach in Livadi, Serifos, on Sunday, September 14.
- Children's road races on Saturday (September 13) morning in Livadi, Serifos, in two categories of 500 and 1000 meters.
- Children's swimming races (100 and 300 meters) on Sunday, September 14.

Το Serifos Sunset Race θα διεξαχθεί στη Σέριφο για 11η χρονιά το Σαββατοκύριακο 13-14 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025.
Αποτελεί μία από τις μεγαλύτερες αθλητικές διοργανώσεις στις Κυκλάδες, με συμμετοχές από όλη την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.
Διεξάγεται σε συνδιοργάνωση με την Περιφέρεια Νοτίου Αιγαίου, με την υποστήριξη του Δήμου Σερίφου και είναι
πρεσβευτής του προγράμματος SeaChange Greek Islands του Κοινωφελούς Ιδρύματος Αθανασίου Κ. Λασκαρίδη, μια ολιστική παρέμβαση για την
προστασία του θαλάσσιου περιβάλλοντος στις Κυκλάδες. Στα πλαίσια της συνεργασίας αυτής η διοργάνωση έχει μετατραπεί σε «plastic free»,
αντικαθιστώντας τα προϊόντα από πλαστικό μιας χρήσης με οικολογικά ανακυκλώσιμα προϊόντα και συμμετέχοντας σε όλες τις δράσεις του
προγράμματος SeaChange Greek Islands (καθαρισμούς παραλίας, ενημερώσεις κτλ.) την περίοδο της διοργάνωσης.
Το αγωνιστικό πρόγραμμα της διοργάνωσης περιλαμβάνει:
αγώνες δρόμου ενηλίκων αποστάσεων 5 και 10χλμ στη διαδρομή Βαγιά - Γάνεμα – Κουταλάς, κατά τη διάρκεια της δύσης του ηλίου και
με τερματισμό στην παραλία της Βαγιάς, το Σάββατο 13/9
- κολυμβητικούς αγώνες ενηλίκων 750 μ, 1500 μ και 3000 μέτρων στην παραλία του Αυλόμωνα στο Λιβάδι Σερίφου, την Κυριακή 14/9
- παιδικούς αγώνες δρόμου το Σάββατο (13/9) το πρωί στο Λιβάδι της Σερίφου, σε δύο κατηγορίες των 500 μ και των 1000 μέτρων
- παιδικούς αγώνες κολύμβησης (100 +μ και 300 μέτρων) την Κυριακή 14/9.
